RNA-Seq and Exome Sequencing webinar presentation

I took this picture while out walking in San Juan Puerto Rico, where the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) was held in October 2012. Impressive, this San Felipe del Morro!

Hello everyone, this post is made while I’m officially on vacation, so while I may post later this week it will only be for recreational purposes. 🙂

I plan to hold two different webinars at three different occasions this upcoming November 28, 29 and 30, 2012 for any interested in RNA-Seq and Exome sequencing. I’ll be giving some background on both methods, why they are significant, point to some key publications, and review some Ion Torrent Proton™ sequencer data for both applications. (As it is still the early days with the Ion Proton, I’ll give as much data on these applications that I can get ahold of.)

The dates and times for the RNA-Seq presentation (all are Eastern Standard time in the US) are Nov 28 2012 at 8pm, Nov 29 at 9am, and Nov 29 at 12 noon. (Each of these will be identical in terms of content.)

The dates and times for the exome sequencing presentation are Nov 29 at 8pm, Nov 30 at 9am, and Nov 30 at noon. (Again all three will be identical in content.)

Here’s the link to sign-up; login information will be emailed to you a day or two before the event. This is free of charge, and will be recorded for posterity and posted sometime in the indeterminate future on the Life Technologies website. (My apologies for the awkward URL. I’m learning some hard lessons here in working with internal folks.) I look forward to hearing questions and comments from all of you!
